Delivery of a piano

Upon ordering a piano via our online shop (acoustic or digital), the delivery of the instrument is handled by our own courier service (or by a specialised transport firm we cooperate with in certain regions).
The delivery time of your instrument may vary and depends on where your instrument is situated (our showroom, our warehouse or the warehouse of the supplier) or on the nature of the instrument (digital, acoustic, …).

After ordering from the website and payment for the purchase, you will be contacted by a staff member of Piano’s Maene the next working day in order to agree on a delivery date. This delivery date depends on the delivery routes of our trucks (or the routes of the firm we cooperate with), but we aim to make delivery at least within two weeks after the purchase date (provided the instrument is in stock).

The day before the delivery, our service will call you to inform you regarding the part of the day your instrument will be delivered (morning, noon, afternoon). The day of the delivery, the driver will call you half an hour beforehand to let you know he’s on his way.

Our drivers will place the piano where you tell them to, on the ground floor (without any special notice accompanying the order, we assume the delivery has to be made on the ground floor). Upon delivery, the customer must also sign for his/her order. Any comments or suggestions can be entered on the delivery documents.

Digital upright pianos are always assembled in our workshop, the packaging being removed and recycled by us: we deliver pianos, not boxes! However, portable instruments (stage pianos) will obviously be delivered in their accompanying box.

Accessories ordered with a piano will obviously be delivered together (if they are not in stock, they can be sent later on).

Delivery costs

All piano deliveries on the ground floor and on the agreed delivery date are free throughout Belgium. If you are not at home, despite the agreements made and without having given prior notice, we reserve the right to charge for the new delivery.

Deliveries on other floors are also possible, of course. However, for those deliveries a supplement will be charged. Considering the fact that the circumstances for such a delivery may strongly differ, the cost can vary from one situation to another. In most cases, pictures will be requested of the location where the delivery needs to take place. Please contact us for more information regarding this.

Deliveries in the Netherlands will basically be charged. For the provinces bordering Belgium, exceptions can be made. Please contact us regarding this.

Shipping of accessories

Accessories that are not ordered together with the piano, will be sent through courier/post.
Shipping is free, provided the total amount charged for the accessories is more than 100 euros, including VAT. If not, a lump sum of 15 euros will be charged.
