Als dochter van meesterpianiste Karin Lechner en nichtje van de wereldberoemde pianist Sergio Tiempo kwam Natasha Binder al op zeer jonge leeftijd intensief in aanraking met muziek. Ze begon op driejarige leeftijd piano te studeren bij haar oma. Op zevenjarige leeftijd maakte ze haar orkestdebuut in Londen met een pianoconcert van Mozart.
