Authentic piano experience

The FP-E50 uses the SuperNATURAL sound source and therefore features a realistic piano sound. The PHA-4 Standard keyboard of the provides a natural and responsive touch, making it suitable for both beginning and advanced pianists. The keyboard features an escapement (let-off) mechanism, similar to that of a real acoustic piano. The keys have the look and feel of real ebony and ivory. The key surface is moisture-absorbing, which makes it harder for your fingers to slip off and will reduce the error rate.

ZEN-Core sound engine

The FP-E50 also features the expandable ZEN-Core sound engine, the same advanced sound generator used in professional Roland synthesizers such as JUPITER-X and FANTOM. Explore historic Roland synth sounds, brass and orchestral voices, guitars and basses, world sounds, drums and much more. Simple controls let you build piano and ZEN-Core sounds freely in layers or assign different sounds to the left and right hands.

Creative Features

The Roland FP-E50 features 177 accompanying music styles where you can control the arrangements yourself via left-hand fingering. The interactive mode lets you control the volume and energy of the background music based on how you play.

Sing along with your piano performances thanks to the microphone input and studio-quality vocal effects. You can adjust the vocal sound via ambient effects and a noise suppressor. Surprise the audience by transforming your voice into a funky robot!
