Responsive Hammer Compact Keyboard
The Kawai KDP-75 is equipped with the Responsive Hammer Compact keyboard, featuring 88 weighted keys. Just like an acoustic piano, this model utilizes different hammer weights, resulting in a natural playing experience. Thanks to the improved damping material, the keyboard noise is kept to a minimum.
Shigeru Kawai Samples & Harmonic Imaging Technology
The KDP-75 features exquisite samples of the world-renowned Shigeru Kawai concert grand piano, which is played in many concert halls worldwide and often selected by professional pianists. Using Harmonic Imaging sound technology, the tones of all 88 keys are faithfully and accurately reproduced. By recording each key individually in this manner, the character of the acoustic grand piano is exceptionally well preserved.
In addition to acoustic piano sounds, the KDP-75 offers a selection of other instrumental sounds, including electric pianos, organs, strings, acoustic and electric bass, and vibraphone.
Speakers and Low Volume Balance Function
The KDP-75's stereo speaker system delivers a total power output of 18W, distributed over 2 speakers. This is ideal for providing ample sound in a medium-sized room. The Low Volume Balance function intelligently adjusts the key touch and piano sound at reduced volumes.
Extra Features
The KDP-75 offers many handy extras such as a built-in metronome, a recording function, dual and split playing modes, and 100 drum rhythms. By connecting the instrument to a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, you can access the Kawai PianoRemote app, allowing you to adjust the instrument's settings or sounds via a user-friendly interface.
