Acoustic pianos

On all new acoustic pianos and second-hand pianos from €3,000 upwards, you can enjoy a 10-year manufacturer's warranty at Piano's Maene. On second-hand acoustic pianos under the limit of €3,000, the warranty is 5 years. The warranty period is always mentioned on the purchase invoice and is valid from the date of delivery. The manufacturer's warranty is only valid for the first owner and is not transferable if you sell or give away the instrument. The warranty of a specific instrument can always be consulted on the individual product pages on our webshop. Do you notice something wrong with your instrument shortly after delivery? Please contact us, so we can solve this for you.

The manufacturer's warranty applies to all defects and/or construction errors not caused by yourself. The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

Defects caused by you.
Defects caused by prolonged exposure of the instrument to excessive or insufficient temperature and/or humidity.
Defects caused by exposure to sunlight, fire or moisture.
Defects or discoloration (e.g., keys, pedals, furniture) caused by normal wear and tear of the instrument.
Instruments that have not been properly maintained or repaired by outside parties.
Instruments where the serial number has been removed or made illegible.

Pianos Maene takes responsibility to repair or replace defective instruments that are under warranty. Standard repairs can be done at home, and can often be combined with a tuning. In exceptional circumstances, the instrument will be picked up for repair at the Piano Technical Workshop.

If the defect occurs shortly after delivery, in most cases the instrument will be exchanged as soon as possible, as far as the stock situation allows.

If a used instrument must be replaced, you will replace a refurbished instrument of comparable age, make, condition and current value.

On all new digital pianos, you can enjoy at Pianos Maene a minimum of 3 years manufacturer's warranty. The duration of the warranty varies per brand and/or model and is always mentioned on the purchase invoice and is valid from the date of delivery. The factory warranty is only valid for the first owner of the instrument and therefore not transferable, if you sell or give away the instrument. The warranty of a specific instrument can always be consulted on the individual product pages on our webshop. Some suppliers offer an extended warranty in addition to the manufacturer's warranty. To activate this extended warranty, you need to register your instrument on the website of the supplier.

Pianos Maene takes the responsibility to repair or replace defective instruments covered by warranty. If the damage occurs shortly after delivery, in most cases the instrument will be exchanged as soon as possible, as far as the stock situation allows.

A repair of a digital piano can be performed at home. Only for stage pianos, repairs are entered in our workshop in Ruiselede. For a repair of a stage piano, the customer can bring the instrument into one of our branches, then Piano's Maene will take care of the rest.

For the digital pianos, the factory warranty and procedure is different for each supplier:

If your acoustic piano becomes defective within the warranty period, please contact our service department at service@maene.be or 051 49 18 13.

If your digital piano becomes defective within the warranty period, please refer immediately to the digital piano repair form. This allows us to guarantee a quick and smooth follow-up.
