The Roland Kiyola series is the result of a collaboration between Roland and renowned Japanese designer Karimoku. This furniture designer is also increasingly known in Europe. More information about Karimoku and its furniture catalog can be found here: http://www.karimoku.com/

For the first time, a digital piano is not finished in laminate, but in real wood veneer (walnut or oak). Roland has a top-quality "interior" (same tone generation, keyboard as in the Roland HP and LX series) incorporated into a sleek, minimalist design. In addition, the instrument comes with an ergonomic, matching bench seat (also designed by Karimoku) as standard.

This instrument is therefore ideal for the added value and quality seeker: quality in musicality, but because of its finish also a quality piece of furniture!

Craftsmanship combined with unparalleled digital technology

In the music world, collaborations usually lead to something very special. We often hear that two musicians join forces and create something much more than the sum of the parts. And if it goes for musicians, then it goes for the companies that build the instruments they play on.

So, in the tradition of captivating-but-unexpected musical collaborations, the new Roland KIYOLA KF-10 digital piano is the result of a partnership between two Japanese heavyweights: a marriage between Roland's SuperNATURAL Piano technology and the artisan craftsmanship of Karimoku's Japanese furniture specialists .

With its anything but conventional piano design, the Roland KIYOLA KF-10 is an extremely refined, handmade instrument that attracts all the attention and immerses every living space in an atmosphere of elegance. If youhave an eye (and ear) for the finer things in life, here are five reasons why choosing the Roland KIYOLA KF-10 could be the start of a beautiful relationship.

Handmade solid wood housing draws attention

Roland KIYOLA stands for "elegance and beauty" and those who sit down on the KF-10 will also notice why. As the largest wooden furniture manufacturer in Japan since 1940, Karimoku manually builds the enclosures for the Roland KIYOLA KF-10 according to its own design, using 100% natural, sustainably cut solid wood. The result is sleek, stylized and individual, with a unique wood grain pattern visible through the walnut or oak finish. This particular approach to construction means that each model is a truly original, with its own distinctive character and personality.

Natural look thanks to discreet technology

Where some digital instruments are overloaded with knobs, the Roland KIYOLA KF-10 keeps its technology low-key to maintain its traditional character. The slender frame merges into beautifully shaped side panels, inspired by the elegant, exclusive sofas of Karimoku. Under the lid we see a very sober layout, with the volume control and other buttons discreetly on the side. The underlying functions are accessible via Bluetooth.

Back-friendly, ergonomic piano bench

If you play piano on a bench of lesser quality for a long time, you will still feel it in your back while reading this. The Roland KIYOLA KF-10 prevents back problems due to bad seats with a piano bench specially manufactured by Karimoku. After studies, research and tests, they designed an ergonomic model. The soft, high-density foam cushion has a curved shape for a better sitting position and because it is also wider, the weight is optimally distributed.

Play your best with SuperNATURAL modeling and the PHA-50 keyboard

The Roland KIYOLA KF-10 is a work of art that requires to be touched. And because it features Roland's SuperNATURAL Piano modeling (reconstruction of the tone and response of an acoustic piano) and our latest PHA-50 keyboard (wood-sided keys and durable synthetic material inside), you'll love it . Four speakers project a warm and distinctive sound, while the included pedal unit gives the extra expression that advanced pianists expect.

Wireless connection to music apps via Bluetooth

Don't be fooled by the minimalist look of the Roland KIYOLA KF-10. The functions of this digital piano are accessible via a wireless connection to a smartphone or tablet, on which you install your favorite music apps. There is a specific app for the KF-10, which allows you to select sounds, play internal songs or set the built-in metronome via your Android or iOS device. Then try Roland's Piano Designer app (for in-depth sound editing, even down to the individual note level for all 88 keys) or piaScore and Sheet Music Direct to practice your favorite tunes. In addition, the Roland KIYOLA KF-10 also serves as a high-quality audio system. The music that you stream wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet is reproduced flawlessly through the four speakers.
