From entry-level to top-tier: Roland pianos at Piano’s Maene.
FP Series – portable & versatile
The FP Series is built for mobility without sacrificing sound. These compact stage pianos combine advanced sound technology with weighted keys for an authentic feel. Ideal for playing at home, in rehearsal and on smaller stages.
F Series – slim & compact
The F Series neatly bridges the gap between FP and RP: a sleek home piano with a fixed cabinet and built-in speakers. You get the clean design and space saving of a compact cabinet, with the ease of use and sound quality you expect in the living room.
RP Series – affordable home piano
The RP Series delivers realistic sound and authentic touch at a sharp price. Its strong value makes it the logical choice for starters, families or anyone with a limited budget who still wants a full-featured digital piano.
HP Series – premium, focused on expression
If you set higher demands on tone and touch, the HP Series is for you. These models pair a refined cabinet with high-grade key action and advanced multi-channel speaker systems. The result is rich, dynamic tones and a natural response that appeal to discerning players.
LX Series – top class for the home
The LX Series brings the very best of Roland home pianos: luxury finish, the most advanced sound technology and immersive multi-channel speaker setups. Natural expression and nuance approach that of an acoustic piano, in a stylish cabinet that suits any living space.
GP Series – digital grands
The GP Series translates the grandeur of an acoustic grand into a beautifully crafted grand-style design with all the advantages of digital technology. Expressive modeled tones, a responsive keybed and refined aesthetics make GP models a true statement piece—whether for the living room or the stage.
Kiyola Series – design piano in real wood veneer
The Roland Kiyola Series, designed in collaboration with Japanese designer Karimoku, combines high-end Roland technology with a slim, minimalist cabinet in real wood veneer (walnut or oak) instead of laminate. Inside, you get the same quality as the HP and LX series; outside, a handcrafted piece that blends seamlessly with your interior. An ergonomic, matching bench by Karimoku is included as standard. Ideal for anyone who values top-tier musical quality as well as a durable, aesthetic piece of furniture.
RD Series – professional stage piano
The RD Series is built for live performers and the studio. Expect intuitive real-time controls (knobs/sliders), flexible connectivity (MIDI, audio outputs, USB) and a robust build. In the studio, RD excels with layering, effects and deep parameter control, letting you craft unique sound palettes fast.
Roland through the years
Roland was founded in 1972 by Ikutaro Kakehashi and grew into a pioneer of digital instruments. In 1974, Roland introduced the EP-30, the first electronic piano with velocity-sensitive (touch-sensitive) keys — a milestone for expressive playing.
The next big leap came in 1986 with the RD-1000 (and the MKS-20 rack): thanks to Structured/Adaptive Synthesis (SAS), piano tones and dynamics became far more realistic, and the RD series became a stage standard.
In 2009, Roland broke with sampling by launching the V-Piano: a fully modeled piano engine delivering natural resonances and endless tone shaping. This was followed by the evolution to SuperNATURAL (modeling behavior combined with samples) in the 2010s, further refining touch and dynamics.
With the LX700 series (2018), Roland introduced PureAcoustic Modeling and powerful multi-channel speakers for an immersive living-room experience. In parallel, Roland also advanced design: the Kiyola KF-10 (from 2015), created in collaboration with furniture designer Karimoku, brought real wood veneer to digital pianos.
Most recently, the GP series (2023) capped this legacy: digital grands that pair modern modeling technology with a classic grand-piano form.
