The AP-270 uses the Tri-Sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II, with 3 adjustable sensitivity levels. The keys are textured to resemble ebony and ivory, providing just the right amount of grip to keep your fingers from slipping. The Triple Sensor Detection system provides a solid touch response, allowing beginners to progress to a more advanced repertoire without difficulty.
Sound and sampling
The AP-270 features 2 speakers with a total of 16W and a polyphony of 192 notes. Thanks to the advanced Multi-Dimensional Morphing Air sound source with expanded memory, piano sounds are enriched with additional detail, depth and resonance. The AP-470 features a total of 22 built-in sounds, including the samples of two concert-quality grand pianos.
Casio Music Space App
The AP-270 can be controlled via tablet or smartphone thanks to the free Casio Music Space app. The app has numerous educational and interactive features for (beginning pianists) such as the Piano Roll feature, Score Viewer and Live Concert Simulator.
