The AP-300 utilizes the Smart Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard, which closely mimics the natural feel and response of an acoustic grand piano. Each key has a unique reaction time, providing a highly expressive playing experience that perfectly captures every nuance and emotion. The keys feature a texture resembling ebony and ivory, offering just the right amount of grip to prevent your fingers from slipping.
Sound and sampling
The AP-300 features two speakers powered by two 20W amplifiers, which reproduce the natural resonance of a grand piano. Thanks to the advanced Multi-Dimensional Morphing Air sound source with expanded memory, the piano tones are enriched with extra detail, depth, and resonance. The AP-300 offers a total of 19 built-in sounds. With the Volume Sync Equalizer, the sound remains balanced even at lower volumes, making it ideal for home practice in the evening or during quiet moments. The Sound Mode allows you to add various effects to the sound, enabling you to customize the tone to your liking. The specially tuned Headphone Mode provides a natural and spacious listening experience when using headphones.
Bluetooth and Casio Music Space app
The AP-300 comes with Casio's WU-BT10 Bluetooth adapter, providing the piano with both Bluetooth audio and MIDI capabilities. With Bluetooth, you can stream audio from your mobile device directly to the piano's surround sound system. You can also connect to numerous creative music apps. Additionally, the Bluetooth feature allows you to communicate with the Casio Music Space app, enabling you to control the piano through the touchscreen of your smart device. The app also offers a variety of educational and interactive features for beginner pianists, such as the Piano Roll function, Score Viewer, and Live Concert Simulator.
