The Roland Kiyola KF-20 features the PHA-50 keyboard with wooden keys, a hybrid construction combining wood with durable materials. The keys are finished with an ebony- and ivory-style surface, providing excellent grip and a refined playing feel. Thanks to the hammer action with escapement, the keyboard responds precisely to every nuance and convincingly recreates the touch of an acoustic piano. The sound of the KF-20 is powered by Roland’s Piano Reality Modeling, where each note is individually generated rather than played back from samples. The built-in amplification system features four speakers (two 12 cm speakers and two 5 cm tweeters), driven by a powerful 2 × 24-watt amplifier.
