Celebrating 170 years of Steinway & Sons & 85 years of Pianos Maene!

On Sunday 15 October, we are organizing a true Steinway Party. Among various activities, we will be visited by Hartwig Kalb. Hartwig has been with Steinway for more than 43 years and is a much-respected expert among piano technicians. He looks back with us at the rich history of Steinway & Sons through unique documents and never-before-published images. We will as well be exhibiting several Steinway grand pianos from our collection such as the Steinway & Sons concert grand piano that was owned by Theodore Steinway himself!

During the entire event we will be looking more closely at the many innovations Steinway launched in recent years and especially the way they provide new artistic and pedagogical opportunities.

Let yourself be enchanted by taking your own seat behind the various new and historic Steinway instruments or trying out the many new technologies. And, of course, we will enjoy brilliant live music together!

As a closure event we present you an absolute first in Belgium: a live concert with pianist Jef Neve in a way you have never experienced it before....
